Vlad Alecu is a technology entrepreneur, engineer and venture builder based in Bucharest. He founded his first company at sixteen, built and exited an AI venture he started at nineteen, and today serves as Partner and Chief Technology Officer at GNOSE.AI alongside Cristian Onețiu. His work has been covered by PCMag, Mashable, Entrepreneur, the New York Post and PRO TV.

He taught himself to build. The first commercial websites came at twelve. By sixteen he was running PublishFinder, a digital publishing house with more than ten titles distributed across Amazon, Apple iBooks and Barnes & Noble and over 10,000 copies sold. It saw him named among Europe's youngest published authors by MarketWatch and Outskirts Press. It was a business before it was a hobby, and that order has held ever since.

At nineteen he moved to London and co-founded WiredVibe AI, a neuroscience-based focus platform he started out of WeWork. It reached more than 10,000 users and a team of twelve. He assembled a board few founders get at any age: Professor Yorick Wilks, one of the founding figures of natural language processing, who joined before his passing in 2023, alongside Dr. Clayton Stewart and Dr. David Horowitz, who backed the company with funding and intellectual property. Funding discussions valued it at £5M. He exited in 2024.

What followed was deliberately broader. He built HeartfeltAI, a web3 voice companion that reads tone and responds with empathy in real time, launched around a Solana token that moved $1.2M in transaction volume on no paid acquisition at all. He founded AKY X, a product and AI studio and holding company registered in the United Kingdom, now at six figures in cumulative revenue. He co-founded SignlAI, MCP-native lead intelligence that surfaces buying intent from public signals and feeds it into outbound.

He also takes operating seats inside other people's companies. At Stailer, a beauty and grooming booking platform valued at $15M at the time, he came in as a partner to build the AI systems and took the app to number one in the Romanian App Store. At GNOSE.AI he leads product and engineering alongside Onețiu, a Top 500 Forbes entrepreneur, founder of Life Care and investor on Imperiul Leilor.

The through line is that he works both sides of a business: the strategy that decides what gets built, and the engineering that builds it. Most technical founders stop at the product. Most entrepreneurs depend on someone else to make it. He founded a company before he wrote a line of code that mattered, sold before he built, and learned P&L before architecture.

He does not work by the hour, and he does not take on projects where he has no say in strategy. He works with a small number of founders each year, going deep on product, team, decisions and sometimes cap table.
